| dc.description | El estudio aplica una metodología para evaluar la conveniencia económica de una inversión en energía fotovoltaica para una familia típica. Se permite concluir, en base al Valor Actual Neto (VAN) y la Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR) que el éxito de este tipo de proyectos de escala familiar está fuertemente condicionado por el monto de la inversión inicial y reinversiones. Como resultado final, los proyectos no resultaron rentables aún después de un análisis de sensibilidad de variables críticas, que incluyó la existencia de subsidios. Esto parece explicar el por qué cuando se adquieren estos equipos a través de un subsidio del Estado, es frecuente ver que los usuarios no realizan las reinversiones necesarias y terminan abandonándolos. AbstractThis study evaluate the economic attractiveness of an investment in photovoltaicenergy for a typical family. Based on the Net Present Value and the Internal Rate of Return we established that the success of this type of family-scale projects is strongly affected by the amount of the initial investment and the reinvestment. As a final result, the projects were not profitable even after a sensitivity analysis of critical variables, which included the existence of subsidies from the Government. This seems to explain why when purchasing this equipment through a subsidy, it is common to see that users do not perform the necessary reinvestments and end up abandoning them. | es-ES |
