Las Incubadoras de Negocios fueron concebidas como una herramienta de desarrollo económico, potenciando la creación de nuevas empresas.En Concepción estas instituciones presentan un explosivo crecimiento. Este aumento se debe en gran medida a que éstas se han formado bajo el alero de universidades.El artículo tiene como propósito revelar los aportes de las Incubadoras de Negocios en el emprendimiento en la comuna de Concepción.La metodología radica en una revisión bibliográfica, análisis descriptivo e interpretación de los resultados obtenidos sobre las Incubadoras de Negocios.El principal hallazgo fue revelar la importancia que poseen las Incubadoras de Negocios como entorno facilitador, contribuyendo al emprendimiento con permanencia estable en el mercado, y disminuyendo la edad inicial para comenzar a emprender.The Business Incubators were conceived as an economic development tool, strengthening the creation of new companies.In Concepción these institutions present explosive growth. This increase is owed mostly to the Business Incubators that have formed under the umbrella of universities.The present study proposes to reveal the investment of the Business Incubators in the undertaking of Concepción.The methodology is based in a literature review, descriptive analysis and interpretation of the results obtained on Business Incubators.The main fi nding of this research was to reveal the importance that Business Incubators have in enabling entrepreneurship environment, contributing to achieve undertaking with stable permanence in the market, while lowering the starting age to begin to undertake.
