| dc.description | Se presenta una breve revisión del desarrollo histórico de la Arqueozoología; en particular centramos la discusión en su desarrollo en la región latinoamericana durante los últimos 10 años, donde se observa un crecimiento exponencial en cuanto a los grupos de trabajo y las temáticas. Se propone que en la agenda de los próximos años, las interacciones humano-fauna sean exploradas en estrecha relación con la Etnozoología, dado que América Latina cuenta con gran diversidad biológica y cultural, en el pasado y en el presente, para incrementar los estudios comparativos y diacrónicos. | es-ES |
| dc.description | A brief review of the historical development of Archaeozoology is provided, in particular the issue is centered on its development in the Latin American region in the past 10 years, where it is observed an exponential growth on work teams and themes. It is proposed that in the agenda for the next years the human and faunal interactions are explored in a tight relationship with Ethnozoology, since Latin America comprises a great diversity both biological and cultural, in the past and the present, in order to increase the comparative and diachronical studies. | en-US |
