| dc.description | This article reflects on the relationship between public policies and indigenous women. For this, three factors considered key are analyzed: the historical relationship that the State and Chilean society has maintained with the indigenous peoples, the patriarchal system as a framework of gender definition in institutional policies, and the neoliberal model (necessary to consider when thinking about the public policies in Chile). In addition, the notion of the coloniality of gender is considered as a contribution that allows broadening the discussion on the relationship between public policies and indigenous women. It starts from the premise of the condition of the authors as mestizo and women researchers, posing a reflective vision of their own gender coloniality. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo reflexiona sobre la relación entre políticas públicas y mujeres indígenas. Para ello se analizan tres factores: la relación histórica que el Estado y sociedad chilena han mantenido con los pueblos indígenas, el sistema patriarcal como marco de definición de género en las políticas institucionales y el modelo neoliberal (necesario de considerar al pensar las políticas públicas en Chile). Además, se plantea la noción de colonialidad del género como un aporte que permite ampliar la discusión sobre la relación entre políticas públicas y mujeres indígenas. Se parte de la premisa de la condición de las autoras como mujeres mestizas e investigadoras, planteando una visión reflexiva de su propia colonialidad de género. | es-ES |
