| dc.description | This study focuses on the dynamics and conflicts derived from the occupation of the coastal areas of the Province of Concepción due to the growth of both artisanal and industrial fishing activities. The objective is to show the scope of the legal control of the coast by the State of Chile through the Navy and to illustrate and examine cases related to the development of mechanisms for the adaptation of artisanal fishermen to the progressive enclosure of coastal and marine spaces. It is argued that the fishermen subsisted under progressive precariousness and instability, due to an ambivalent state position that ended up decisively favoring the industrial sector at the middle of the twentieth century.Keywords: Fishermen, Industrial Fishing, Forced Movement, Marine Under secretariat of Chile, Provincia de Concepción. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este estudio se centra en las dinámicas y conflictos derivados de la ocupación de los espacios costaneros de la Provincia de Concepción a raíz del crecimiento de la actividad pesquera artesanal e industrial. El objetivo es mostrar los alcances que tuvo el control legal del litoral por parte del Estado de Chile a través de la Armada e ilustrar y examinar casos relativos al desarrollo de mecanismos de adaptación de los pescadores artesanales frente al progresivo cercamiento de los espacios litorales y marinos. Se sostiene que los pescadores subsistieron bajo una progresiva precariedad e inestabilidad, debido a una actitud estatal ambivalente que a partir de mediados del siglo veinte terminó por favorecer decisivamente al sector industrial.Palabras clave: Pescadores Artesanales, Pesca Industrial, Radicación, Subsecretaría de Marina de Chile,Provincia de Concepción. | es-ES |
