| dc.description | This paper analyzes the associations of the Italian colony in Tarapacá between 1874 and 1910, considered as key elements in the process of reproduction of the Italian identity at the same time that mechanisms of integration into the receiving society. In this way, first contextualize the presence of the Italian colony in the province of Tarapacá, then will be analyzed in detail each of the forms of associativity deployed and finally there will be a balance of its relevance in the shaping of society of Tarapacá.Keywords: Italians, identity, receiving society, integration, assimilation. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo analiza las asociaciones de la colonia italiana en Tarapacá entre 1874 y 1910, consideradas como elementos clave en el proceso de reproducción de la identidad italiana a la vez que mecanismos de integración en la sociedad receptora. De este modo, primeramente, se contextualizará la presencia de la colonia italiana en la provincia de Tarapacá, luego se analizará en detalle cada una de las formas de asociatividad desplegadas y por último se presentará un balance de su relevancia en la conformación de la sociedad tarapaqueña.Palabras clave: italianos, identidad, sociedad receptora, integración, asimilación. | es-ES |
