| dc.description | This article reflects on Chilean politics and the origins of the political parties system in the middle of the 19th century, within the Nation State building process. It is develop from a transnational perspective understanding the emergence of political parties within the political and ideological disputes in Europe and Latin America. This allow us to understand the clerical and anti-clerical stances which developed the political parties system, placing the role of the Catholic Church and the “cuestión del Sacristán” juncture in a broad context. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo se propone reflexionar sobre la política chilena y el proceso de formación del sistema de partidos políticos a mediados del siglo XIX, en el marco de la organización del Estado nacional. Se plantea una mirada transnacional que permita situar dicho proceso en el conjunto de disputas políticas e ideológicas generadas en Europa y América Latina durante tal período. Dicha perspectiva contribuye a comprender, en una visión más amplia e integradora, las posiciones clericales y anticlericales que dan origen al sistema de partidos, situando, de esa manera, el análisis del rol de la Iglesia católica y la coyuntura de la “cuestión del Sacristán” en un contexto mayor. | es-ES |
