| dc.description | The aim of this paper is to demonstrate how through various journalistic documents, declassified files of the Chilean dictatorship and one case in particular, the secret police of Chile (DINA/CNI), developed processes of reformulation of the discourse with the idea of altering news events related to crimes that transgressed human rights. Specifically, the case of the teacher Marta Ugarte is presented as emblematic, being the only one person detained and missing and thrown into the sea that appeared on the Chilean coast.Keywords: Journalism, secret police, reformulation, distortion, Marta Ugarte. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo de este trabajo es demostrar cómo el discurso periodístico en la dictadura chilena se basó en las pautas dadas por la DINA en su Manual, con la finalidad de presentar la realidad acorde a los intereses de la dictadura. Bajo estas circunstancias se desarrollaron procesos de reformulación del discurso con la idea de alterar hechos noticiosos relacionados con delitos que transgredieron los derechos humanos. Se expone, específicamente, el caso de la profesora Marta Ugarte, por considerarse emblemático, al ser la única persona detenida desaparecida y lanzada al mar que apareció en las costas chilenas.Palabras clave: Periodismo, policía secreta, reformulación, distor-sión, Marta Ugarte. | es-ES |
