AbstractLira street, from Libertador Bernardo O’higgins Avenue to Manuel Antonio Matta Avenue, features an admirable cobbled pavement made out of granite as well as the curbs on each side. Along the middle of the street there is a streetcar line, and in between its rails there are sewer lids along the line. The quality of the placing of the cobbles and their materials is proof of a certain maturity in the art of construction during the 20th century. The article proposes that these elements should be considered as cultural heritage objects. es-ES
