| dc.description | El objetivo central del artículo es realizar un análisis histórico del desarrollo de la política exterior de los Estados Unidos hacia América Latina en siglos XIX y XX dentro del marco teórico de los sistemas internacionales. Se utilizan, asimismo, diversos niveles de análisis, como sean, el accionar de los individuos, el escenario doméstico y el contexto internacional en el que el país estuvo envuelto. Para tanto, se toman en consideración la teoría realista y la idealista o liberal para estudiar estos procesos. | es-ES |
