This article is a reflexion on a recent Chilean  Constitutional Court judgement pronounced on the constitutionality of some of the rules that modified the Law of Fisheries. To do this, our reflection will focus on the analysis and commentary of  the assessment made by the Constitutional Court on two distinct issues, the first relating to the consultation procedure established by the article 6 of ILO Convention No. 169 and its scope in the Chilean legislative process, and the second, on the relationship between international law and internal law, in particular the range of  international human rights treaties in the Chilean legal order.el presente trabajo consiste en una re#exión sobre una reciente sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional chileno que se pronunció sobre la constitucionalidad de algunas de las normas del proyecto que modificaba la Ley de Pesca. Para ello, nuestra reflexión se centrará en el análisis y comentario de la valoración hecha por el Tribunal Constitucional sobre dos distintas cuestiones, la primera relativa al procedimiento de consulta establecido por el artículo 6.º del Convenio Nº169 de la OIT y su alcance en el proceso legislativo chileno, y, la segunda, sobre la relación entre el derecho internacional y el derecho interno, en particular, el rango de los tratados internacionales de derechos humanos en el orden jurídico chileno.
