Abstract
this article approaches the interpretentation criteria as wielded by the jurisprudence on human rights, produced by the chilean Constitutional Court, based on the direct and immediate juridically binding vigor of the contstitutional precepts. This, in the context of the Court's own constitutional hermeneutic, with interpretation criteria based on values and principles, finalistic and contextual, put to the service of the person's dignity and rights (humanistic constitutionalism) El ´presente artículo aborda los criterios de interpretación esgrimidos por la jurisprudencia sobre derechos humanos, emanada del Tribunal Constitucional chileno, fundada en el principio de supremaciía de la Constitución, en el vigor jurídico vinculante, directo e inmediato de los preceptos constitucionales. Ello en el contexto de una hermenéutica constitucional propia, con criterios de interpretación basado en valores y principios, contextual y finalística, instrumento al servicio de la dignidad y drechos de la persona (constitucionalismo hummanístico)
