dc.descriptionThe increasing number of cesarean sections is worrisome. In this article, several causes that could cause this phenomenon are invoked and a primary cause that explains all others is proposed. The hierarchical analysis of different values such as safety, costs and mother autonomy at the moment of medical decision, is discussed.
