| dc.description | Lo que se esconde tras el discurso triunfalista acerca del proceso chileno, explica el complejo fenómeno de la desafección ciudadana existente en el país. En el presente trabajo se plantea que el miedo al caos y a la inestabilidad condicionan la democracia, fenómenos que al no producirse, se convierten en un triunfalismo ciego frente al futuro. A esto se suma que en Chile los desafíos que implican los grandes cambios experimentados no se han enfrentado reflexivamente. Se plantea la hipótesis de que la percepción negativa que se tiene de la política, junto a la ausencia de alternativas, produce un malestar no expresado. Esta desafección ciudadana refleja el vacío producido por la desaparición del Estado y la política como instancias para resolver los problemas y, el hecho peor, que el mercado los ha reemplazado, con el consiguiente deterioro del ámbito público y colectivo. | es-ES |
| dc.description | What's hidden behind the triumphant discourse about the Chilean process explains the complex phenomenon of citizen disaffection in the country. In this paper, it is proposed that fear of chaos and instability affects democracy, phenomena that, when not produced, become a blind triumphalism in the face of the future. Added to this is that in Chile the challenges implied by the great changes experienced have not been dealt with reflectively. It is hypothesized that the negative perception of politics, together with the absence of alternatives, produces an unexpressed discomfort. This citizen disaffection reflects the void produced by the disappearance of the State and politics as instances to solve problems and, even worse, that the market has replaced them, with the consequent deterioration of the public and collective sphere. | en-US |
