| dc.description | The cultural landscape of the native peoples of the Andean highlands suggests sustainable strategies of adaptation to the territory, based on a deep and systemic knowledge of the geographical context that sustains it. Terraced agriculture involves direct contact with the land, water and sun. Life in the highlands implies an adaptation to the climate of the desert, with high daily variations of temperature and abundant rains in summer. The importance of the natural resources that participate in the configuration of the territory generates in its inhabitants the need to provide care, and maintenance in exchange for the richness received and in exchange for protection whenever the climatic or geological factors pose a potential risk to their population. This is manifested in a way of ordering the territory that balances productive, ritual and community activities, in a protected and protected and sheltered environment. | en-US |
| dc.description | La construcción de paisaje habitable de los pueblos originarios del altiplano andino sugiere estrategias sostenibles de adaptación al territorio, basadas en un conocimiento profundo y sistémico del contexto geográfico que lo sostiene. La agricultura de terrazas implica un contacto directo con la tierra, el agua y el sol. La vida en el altiplano implica una adaptación al clima desértico, de altas variaciones diarias de temperatura y abundantes lluvias en verano. La relevancia de los recursos naturales que participan en la configuración del territorio genera en sus habitantes la necesidad de prestar cuidado, mantención y resguardo a cambio de las bonanzas recibidas y a cambio de protección toda vez que los factores climáticos o geológicos ponen en riesgo potencial a su población. Esto se manifiesta en un modo de ordenar el territorio que equilibra las actividades productivas, rituales y comunitarias, en un medio ambiente protegido y resguardado. | es-ES |
