dc.descriptionThe architectural and environmental characteristics of the small town of Zúñiga, in San Vicente de Tagua Tagua County, Sixth Region, have been acknowledged recently as it was named a Zona Typica (Typical Zone). Additionally it has been granted the Premio Nacional de Conservación Nacional (National Award for National Preservation), Asociación Gremial (Social Organization) category thus acknowledging the love and devotion the community has shown for their every day environment. This is the case of an isolated street with the typical houses of the central valleys which owners are committed to preserve. In order to do this they have participated in the writing of a manual done by the Instituto de Restauración Arquitectónica, Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, Universidad de Chile and acknowledged by the Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales (National Monuments Council). By means of this manual, the municipality will be able to control future intervention in the houses.en-US
dc.descriptionLos atributos arquitectónicos y ambientales de la pequeña localidad de Zúñiga, localizada en la comuna de San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, Sexta Región, han sido reconocidos gracias a la reciente declaración de Zona Típica. Adicionalmente, se le ha concedido el Premio Nacional de Conservación Nacional en el rubro Agrupación Gremial, premiando el amor y la devoción que la comunidad ha demostrado por su escenario cotidiano. Una calle marginada de viviendas características del valle central, cuyos propietarios se han comprometido a mantenerla en buen estado de conservación. Para ello han contribuido a la elaboración de un instructivo, elaborado por el Instituto de Restauración Arquitectónica de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Chile y validado por el Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales, mediante el cual el municipio podrá regular las intervenciones futuras.es-ES
