| dc.description | This paper deals with the issue of ethnic identity and alterity relationships’ configurationin contemporary social space in the Atacama Region, Chile. After an historical review ofthe relationships between the most important groups in this space, collective identities andalterity outlines are described and analyzed, to determinate the incidence of this process inthe constitution of the spaces of social interaction, specially economical and social ones, wherethe members of this groups are involved. In those spaces, relationships underlying the socialinequalities, stereotypes and prejudges, coexistence and rivality, besides opposition and interandintraethnic can be established. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo aborda el tema de la configuración de la identidad étnica y de las relacionesde alteridad en el espacio social atacameño actual. Luego de una revisión histórica de lasrelaciones entre los grupos más importantes dentro de dicho espacio, se describen y analizanlas delimitaciones de identidad y alteridad colectivas que han venido estableciéndose ydominando los vínculos entre el pueblo originario atacameño y los no-indígenas. Se buscadeterminar la incidencia de estos procesos en la constitución de los espacios de interacciónsocial en que participan los miembros de estos pueblos, particularmente en los ámbitoseconómicos y laborales. En éstos se constatan relaciones que remarcan desigualdades sociales,estereotipos y prejuicios, coexistencia y competencia, así como oposición y conflicto inter eintra étnicos. | es-ES |
