El presente artículo busca analizar el papel de los operativos cívico-militares, dispositivos de control social empleados por la dictadura, la hipótesis define  que la fractura social, representada por el ciclo de protestas contra el régimen, tiene una contestación en los operativos cívico-militares y, en términos  políticos, esto refiere una clara disputa. Nos centraremos en la caracterización de los sujetos sociales y las dinámicas que definieron la imposición de estos  dispositivos de control social, en el marco del ciclo de protestas nacionales que va entre 1983 y 1986. Como corpus documental se realiza una revisión de prensa nacional y  regional, como también el análisis de legislación del período. ABSTRACT This article seeks to analyze the role of civic-military operations, social control devices used by the dictatorship, the hypothesis defines that the social  fracture, represented by the cycle of protests against the regime, has a response in civic-military operations and, in political terms, this refers to a clear  dispute. We will focus on the characterization of the social subjects and the dynamics that defined the imposition of these social control devices, within the framework of the cycle of national protests that goes from 1983 to 1986. As a documentary corpus, a national and regional press review is made, as well as  the analysis of legislation of the period.
