| dc.description | Este artículo presenta reflexiones sobre el hacer a partir del encuentro de diseñadoras con artesanos que producen máscaras en Brasil y Costa Rica. Esto a partir de encuentros creativos en que el flujo de los materiales conducen el proceso de colaboración entre diseñadoras y artesanos. Por medio de las prácticas de correspondencia, las cuales el antropólogo Tim Ingold define como formas atentas de estar en en el mundo. De esta forma buscamos pistas para pensar nuestras prácticas, aprendiendo junto con los materiales, con los procesos intersubjetivos que ocurren en campo y con los principios intrínsecos de las prácticas de correspondencia, como lo son la improvisación, la anticipación y la temporalidad. Desde nuestros contactos con los indígenas Boruca de Costa Rica y con artesanos como Zimar, del municipio de Matinha, ubicado en Maranhão (Brasil), entendemos el proceso del bricolaje y contención de los materiales, y al mismo tiempo, como se cuentan estas actividades, caracterizando el proceso de autopoiesis que el antropólogo Arturo Escobar describe como una clave para lograr la autonomía. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article presents theoretical reflections about making through the encounter with artisans who produce masks in Brazil and Costa Rica. This is based on creative meetings in which the flow of materials drives the process of collaboration between designers and craftsmen. Through correspondence practices, which anthropologist Tim Ingold defines as attentive ways of being in the world. Thus we look for clues to think our practices learning with the materials, with the intersubjective processes that happen in the field and with the principles intrinsic to the practices of correspondences like the improvisation, the anticipation and the attentiveness. From our contacts with the Boruca of Costa Rica and with the craftsman Zimar, from the municipality of Matinha, located in Maranhão (Brazil), we understand the process of bricolage and containment of materials and at the same time, how such practices are told, characterizing the process of autopoiesis, described by the anthropologist Arturo Escobar, as the key to achieving autonomy. | en-US |
