| dc.description | This article aims to situate the concept of communitarian philosophy and its emergence as contemporary to the trend of liberalism. The concept is not situated in complete opposition to liberalism, but rather with the aim of recovering the concept of community. This concept of community is understood as a sharing by individuals of their affective bonds, beliefs and inherited values, by which individuals shape their own identity and personality in a specific temporal and historical space. The above intends to contradict the liberal theory that portrays mankind as individualistic beings who attain all their goals by their own efforts. On the other hand, the communitarian philosophy proposes to emphasize the idea of community, taking into account that individuals have both liberties as well as responsibilities towards their community, which are rooted in morality. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo se propone fundamentar la concepción de la filosofía comunitarista y su surgimiento en forma contemporánea a la corriente del liberalismo, no en completa oposición sino más bien con el objetivo de recuperar el concepto de comunidad. El concepto de comunidad entendido como un compartir de los individuos en cuanto a sus lazos afectivos, creencias, y valores heredados; como formas, saberes y prácticas a través de las cuales cada quien va forjando su propia identidad y personalidad en un determinado espacio histórico-temporal. Todo esto para invalidar la teoría liberal que presenta a los hombres como seres individualistas, los cuales por su propio esfuerzo y superación logran llegar a la cúspide de todo cuanto se proponen. Por su parte, la filosofía comunitarista propone hacer énfasis en la idea de comunidad, teniendo en cuenta que el individuo es titular de libertades pero a su vez de responsabilidades hacia su comunidad, las cuales están enraizadas con la moral. | es-ES |
