dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene como objetivo principal dar cuenta de los postulados teóricos de Severo Sarduy: las relaciones establecidas por el autor entre paradigma científico (Big Bang) y sistema estético (Barroco). Esta aproximación permite visualizar la historicidad cósmica a partir de la cual Sarduy configura la oposición Arquetipo/Simulacro, y el consiguiente cuestionamiento del Mito. Posteriormente, se revisa en su obra creativa el funcionamiento textual de estos aspectos del pensamiento sarduyano. The main objetive of this article in to give an account of the theoretical postulates of Severo Sarduy: the relationship established by the author between the scientific paradigm (Big Bang) and the aesthetic system (Barroque).This approach permits us lo visualize the cosmic histori-city starting from which Sarduy shapes the oposition Archetype Simulacrum, and the resulting questioning of the Myth. Subsequently the textual functioning of these aspects of S. Sarduy's thought is revised in his creative work.es-ES
