dc.descriptionA general method for the synthesis of Ruthenium(II) complexes of the type [(HOOC-dppz)2RuX2] and [(HOOC-dppz)RuL2](PF6)2 (X = Cl- or SCN-, L = 2,2'-dipyridine or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-dipyridine and HOOC-dppz = 11-carboxy-dipyrido(3,2-a:2',3'-c)phenazine), is reported. The complexes were characterized by conventional technics as UV-Visible, IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry.
