| dc.description | Triclycerides concentration contained in the VLDL+LDL fraction were determined in male broiler chickens of the Húbbard fine from 14 to 49 days of age, with an without a 12 hour fast, through an adaptation of a commercial colorimetric method for human use. VLDL+LDL fraction were selectively precipitated with polyanions. Triglycerides concentration was lower in birds after 12 hours fasting than in fed subjects. In addition, a significant correlation was found between the triglycerides concentration in VLDL+LDL fraction as determine by the colorimetric method, and the VLDL fraction measured by the turbidity test. | en-US |
| dc.description | En broiler Hubbard machos de 1 a 49 días de edad, con y sin ayuno, se determinó la concentración de triglicéridos de la fracción lipoproteica VLDL+LDL, precipitada selectivámente con po­lianiones, por una adaptación del método químico colorimétrico comercial de uso humano. Se obtuvo concentraciones de triglicéridos menores en aves con ayuno de 12 horas, que en aves sin ayuno previo a la extracción de la muestra de sangre. También se estimó los triglicéridos de la fracción VLDL por un método rápido de turbidez, obteniéndose una corre­lación significativa entre ambos. | es-ES |
