| dc.description | In the context of the comparative study of literature and cinema, the purpose of this article is to explore the transformations of the narrative voice in a literary text when it is adapted and transformed into a film. This study will be carried out by analyzing a specific literary text, Thomas Mann’s Death in Venice, and confronting it to its filmic version by Luchino Visconti; by establishing the specificities of each type of discourse, and specifically the particularities of narration proper to each medium, we can expect to understand the theoretic, practical and aesthetic consequences of this fundamental diegetic transformation. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo se inscribe dentro del marco de los estudios comparados entre literatura y cine, y se propone estudiar las transformaciones producto del cambio de medio de la voz narrativa de un texto literario al ser llevado al cine. Este estudio se llevará a cabo analizando un texto literario en especial, Muerte en Venecia de Thomas Mann, confrontándolo con su versión fílmica, la película homónima de Luchino Visconti, caracterizando en ellos las especificidades de cada discurso y, en particular, las características propias de la narración de cada uno de estos medios, para comprender así las consecuencias teóricas, prácticas y estéticas de este cambio fundamental en la diégesis. | es-ES |
