| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to discuss the evolution of Distance Education as a result of technological developments. Also, it is described the Integrated Program for University Teaching at PUC. This program was created in 1996 and its main goal is to face challenges and globalization associated to teaching, due to the development of telecommunications technology.
