| dc.description | This paper discusses topics of theoretical and methodological nature, associated to the concept of Proximal Development Zone. It tries to demonstrate that the metacognitive insertion of the student in the Zone should transcend the simple relation with the problem, and that the consideration of conscious metacognitive action is a basic step to get to new dimensions of cognitive development. According to the cultural historical approach, the author shows elements that reinforce the idea that problem solution should not be considered as a purely cognitive act, attention should be paid to social interaction as well. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo se discuten tópicos de naturaleza teórica y metodológica asociados al concepto de Zona de Desarrollo Próximo. Se trata de mostrar que la inserción metacognitiva del estudiante en la zona debe trascender la mera relación con el problema y que la consideración de la acción metacognitiva consciente es un paso básico para acceder a nuevas dimensiones del desarrollo cognitivo. En coherencia con el enfoque histórico-cultural se aportan elementos que refuerzan la concepción de que la solución de problemas no debe considerarse como un hecho meramente cognitivo, sino que debe prestarse más atención a los procesos de interacción social. | es-ES |
