dc.descriptionThe intent of this article is to develop information literacy skills in education students of higher education. It presents: (i) a brief look at some Information Literacy (IL) definitions and models, (ii) information gathered from professor and students in respect to their relationship with this theme in their teaching and learning roles, (iii) the Web Site, that we have built, as a result of a project, in order to generate spaces and tools for the achievement of these skills.  Finally, we would like to emphasize that the development of this paper is based on: the firm conviction that librarians and academics can, working together, contribute to the establishment of an alliance that helps students to internalize the information literacy skills as an added value to their general education.en-US
dc.descriptionLa intencionalidad de este artículo está centrada en el interés por compartir la preocupación por desarrollar en los estudiantes habilidades informa-cionales.  Con este propósito se presenta: (i) Un breve recorrido por algunas definiciones y modelos de la Alfabetización Informacional (AI). (ii) Información obtenida de estudiantes y profesores sobre la vinculación de este tema con sus prácticas educativas y (iii) el Sitio Web que hemos elaborado, a partir de un proyecto para generar los espacios y herramientas que permitan contribuir al logro de estas habilidades.  Finalmente, cabe destacar que el desarrollo de este trabajo estuvo basado en el convencimiento de que bibliotecarios y académicos pueden de manera conjunta potenciar la creación de una alianza que contribuya a internalizar las habilidades informacionales como un valor agregado en la formación integral de los estudiantes.es-ES
