Its aim is to expose in a systematic, descriptive and testimonial way the origin, development and end of the Social Weeks in Chile. Highlight the importance of this ecclesial, lay instance of social reflection. Making a presentation of its genesis, a thematic and chronological structuring of the different themes that were developed and their pastoral theological contributions. This investigation is part of a larger work that includes indexes, contexts and interviews of key stakeholders that registered.Se pretende exponer de manera sistemática, descriptiva y testimonial del origen, desarrollo y término de las Semanas Sociales en Chile. Tiene como propósito destacar la significancia y relevancia de esta instancia eclesial, laical de reflexión social.  Haciendo una presentación de su génesis, una estructuración temática y cronológica de los diferentes núcleos temáticos que se desarrollaron y sus contribuciones teológicas pastorales. Es parte de un trabajo más amplio que incluye índices, contextos y entrevistas de actores claves que han sido registrados.
