| dc.description | Este artículo estudia el proceso de consolidación de Yumbel como villa cabecera del Departamento de Rere a mediados del siglo XIX en el periodo comprendido entre 1830 y 1853. Dicho proceso se comienza a materializar a partir de una decisión de la municipalidad de Rere el 22 de mayo de 1835, que decidió trasladar el pueblo de Yumbel, con el objetivo de ser destinado como nueva villa cabecera del departamento. Es a partir de ese hecho que comienza un proceso de debate, de rencillas de tipo administrativo sobre cuál era la función que debían cumplir ambas villas tanto Rere como Yumbel en la administración. Eso su-mado a factores políticos, electorales, geográficos, de conectividad, entre otros. Dicho proceso, finaliza en 1853 con la designación de Yumbel como nueva villa cabecera del Departamento de Rere La metodología de trabajo comienza con una revisión bibliográfica para contextualizar el origen del Departamento de Rere. Posteriormente se analizan diversas fuentes primarias con el objetivo de describir el proceso, de discusión y debate de las autoridades locales, tanto de Yumbel como de Rere, como las decisiones a nivel nacional que finalmente permitieron erigir a Yumbel como nueva cabecera del departamento. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article studies the process of consolidation of Yumbel as the head town (villa) of the Department of Rere in the mid-19th century in the period between 1830 and 1853. This process begins to materialize from a decision of the municipality of Rere on May 22 of 1835, which decided to move the town of Yumbel, with the aim of being designated as the new head town of the department. It is from that fact that a process of debate begins, of administrative quarrels about what was the role that both towns should play both Rere and Yumbel in the administration. That added to political, electoral, geographic, connectivity factors, among others. Said process ends in 1853 with the designation of Yumbel as the new head town of the Department of Rere. The work methodology begins with a bibliographic review to contextualize the origin of the Department of Rere. Subsequently, various primary sources are analyzed with the aim of describing the process, of discussion and debate of the local authorities, both of Yumbel and Rere, as well as the national decisions that finally allowed Yumbel to be erected as the new head of the department. | en-US |
