dc.descriptionThe paper analyses the content of the auxiliary institutions under which the medical treatment of incompetent patients is justified. Regarding this, the statute N° 20.584 is imprecise and its treatment in the Chilean literature problematic. The purpose of this paper is to present the grounds for the reconstruction of these institutions in Chilean law.en-US
