| dc.description | An inquiry is being made regarding the subjective components which make up the social dynamics of violence lived by adolescent students of 13 and 14 years of age, pupils of first year at a Secondary School of the 7º Region in Chile. Techniques of qualitatives investigation are used in the compilation and the analysis of the information, complemented with the use of a questionnaire to a 243 students of the establishmet. Among the findings it is sustained that the violence dynamics among peers, supposes two dominant rules which form part of the subculture of the school’s adolescents: 1) Violence is normal; 2) Living together with one’s peers means a permanent relationship among equals. Generally the “symmetrical ideal” is a relevant fact to configurate the violence dynamics. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el presente artículo se indaga en los componentes subjetivos que configuran la dinámica social de la violencia en estudiantes adolescentes de 13 y 14 años, que cursan el primer año de Enseñanza Media en un Liceo Municipal de la 7a Región de Chile. Se utilizan técnicas cualitativas de recolección y análisis de información, complementado con la aplicación de un cuestionario a 243 alumnos del establecimiento. Entre las conclusiones se sostiene que la dinámica de la violencia entre pares supone dos percepciones dominantes que son parte de la subcultura adolescente en la escuela: 1) la violencia es normal, y 2) que la convivencia de pares es permanentemente una relación entre iguales. Generalmente este “ideal de simetría” es un factor relevante para configurar la dinámica de la violencia. | es-ES |
