Taking as a starting point the recent advances of the communicative oriented text linguistics, this work analyses some critical reviews produced by university students. With the aim of accounting for the development of the "evaluation" in the text part Conclusions, first, a linguistic and textual characterization of this part of the reviews was done and, then, the introduction of value judgements and opinions in academic texts, as the ones in the corpus, were investigated. For this purpose, the cognitive notions of "balance and axiological crash" (Krzeszowski 1992) were applied to explore this dimension of the texts. The different possibilities of textual and axiological structure identified in the treatment of the "evaluative factor" contribute to the understanding of the complex relations between objectivity and subjectivity in academic texts.A partir de los recientes avances de la lingüística textual de orientación comunicativa, este trabajo analiza reseñas críticas producidas por universitarios. Con el objetivo de dar cuenta del desarrollo de la "evaluación" en la parte textual Conclusiones, primero se ha buscado caracterizar lingüística y textualmente esta parte de las reseñas y, luego, se ha investigado la introducción de juicios de valor y opiniones en textos académicos como los del corpus. Para ello, las nociones cognitivas de "equilibrio y colisión axiológica" (Krzeszowski 1992) se aplicaron a la exploración de esta dimensión de las reseñas. Las distintas posibilidades de estructuración textual y axiológica reconocidas en el tratamiento del "factor evaluativo" constituyen un aporte al esclarecimiento de las complejas relaciones entre objetividad y subjetividad en textos académicos.
