This paper focuses on the analyses of evolution of morphological meaning of prefixes supra-and infra- between 1100 -2004 through the survey of the derived words with these prefixes in CORDE and CREA corpuses. In first place, it set what meanings are created by these prefixes and it distinguishes three different meanings, 'locative', 'hierarchy' and 'intensive' wiht someone subtype each one; after, it focus on their evolution over time and their relation with the category of the derivational base and the textual type what they appear in.Este artículo analiza la evolución de los significados morfológicos de las palabras creadas por medio de los prefijos supra- e infra- entre los años 1100-2004 a través del estudio de los derivados documentados en los corpus CORDE y CREA. Se establece, en primer lugar, cuáles son los significados creados por estos dos prefijos, diferenciando tres significados fundamentales: 'locativo', 'jerarquía' e 'intensivo', con algunas subespecificaciones en cada uno de ellos; se centra después en el estudio de su evolución a lo largo del tiempo y de su relación con la categoría de la base de derivación y la tipología textual en la que aparecen.
