This article studies the links between neoliberalism and the rap sub-genre, the trap. It starts from the hypothesis that in this genre, which makes use of the signifiers of the marginal areas of today's capitalist cities, and which at the same time has been translated and merged with all types of urban music at the planetary level, we can read the anthropological vision promoted by neoliberalism. We understand that this anthropological vision has become hegemonic and that, therefore, we live under the cultural hegemony of neoliberalism. A hegemony of which the trap in its present form is nothing more than the exaggerated expression of its forms of subjectivation. For this reason, we will delve into the neoliberal grammar of the trap, from the perspective of its consumers, in order to identify possible forms of resistance to the forms of neoliberal subjectivation.En el presente artículo se estudian los vínculos entre el neoliberalismo y, el subgénero de rap, el trap. Se parte de la hipótesis de que en dicho género, que se sirve de los significantes de las zonas marginales de las actuales ciudades capitalistas, y que al mismo tiempo ha sido traducido y fusionado con todo tipo de músicas urbanas a nivel planetario, se puede leer la visión antropológica promovida por el neoliberalismo. Entendemos que esa visión antropológica se ha hecho hegemónica y que, por lo tanto, vivimos bajo la hegemonía cultural del neoliberalismo. Hegemonía de la que el trap en su forma actual no es más que la expresión exagerada de sus formas de subjetivación. Por ello, profundizaremos en la gramática neoliberal del trap, desde la perspectiva de sus consumidores, para identificar posibles formas de resistencia a las formas de subjetivación neoliberal.
