| dc.description | En el marco de una expedición de la Federación Francesa de Espeleología, D. Legoupil realizó en 2000, una rápida prospección arqueológica de la isla Madre de Dios. En una cueva que constituye la entrada de una red subterránea de 145 m de largo, se encontró un esqueleto humano al pie de una pared. Debido a la humedad del lugar se decidió rescatar estos huesos, que fueron fechados en 4.520±60 AP. Esta datación representa por el momento el testimonio más antiguo de la ocupación del hombre en la parte central de los archipiélagos de Patagonia. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Within the framework of an expedition of the French Federation of Speleology, D. Legoupil made in 2000, a fast archaeological survey in the Madre de Dios island. In a cave that is the entrance of an undergroung network of 145 m leght, a human skeleton was found lying besides the wall. Because of the humidity of the cave, it was decided to rescue these bones that were later dated on 4.520±60 BP. This date represents nowadays the oldest evidence for the presence of man in the central part of the archipelagoes of Patagonia. | en-US |
