| dc.description | El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las estrategias tecnológicas de los grupos tempranos del área de los canales fuego-patagónicos, cuyo modo de vida estuvo orientado hacia la explotación de recursos marinos. Para ello se comparan los conjuntos líticos de seis sitios localizados en distintos sectores de esa área, fechados alrededor del sexto milenio AP. Los resultados obtenidos permiten establecer similitudes en lo que respecta a las técnicas de manufactura, el uso del espacio y la estructura general del conjunto instrumental. También se sugiere la existencia de redes sociales y mecanismos de circulación de conocimientos entre los distintos grupos que poblaron los canales del extremo sur de Sudamérica. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The aim of this work is to analyze the technological strategies developed by the early habitants of the Fuego-Patagonian Channels whose mode of life was oriented towards the exploitation of littoral resources. To this purpose we carry out a comparison among the lithic assemblages of six sites located on different sectors of this area, dated about the sixth millenia BP. The results obtained allow us establish several similarities in connection with the manufacture techniques, the use of space and the general structure of the tool assemblages. In addition, these data suggest the existence of social networks and mechanisms of transmission of knowledge among the different groupswho peopled the southernmost channels of Southamerica. | en-US |
