The evolutive motion of the human rights and the constitutionalism may be seen as linked since several fundamental rights, which are internally provided by the States, are also positivised by International Treaties on human rights. Th us it is important to understand both via the cosmopolitan bias. We do not intend to bring up the history of cosmopolitanism from the beginning to contemporaneity, but to show some nuances of the Kantian cosmopolitan constitutionalism that may be used by the international society in order to develop democratic governments facing the humanitarian ideals, which are the paradigm of International Law. It is highlighted that with the rising of economic globalization and the disregard of undeniable moral values in favor of the market, it is not permissible to return to the Enlightenment apex of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries; however, it is possible to develop and refi ne cosmopolitism. Th e metaphor of the mirror is mentioned to highlight the image formed when you put a motion before the other in order to enhance both. Furthermore, there is no intention in exhausting this issue, but provide points of contact and distance as well as positive and negative aspects related to certain conceptions concerning globalization, cosmopolitism and constitutionalism.en-US
