| dc.description | This article establishes concepts related to leisure and serious leisure experiencedetermining their characteristics in order to link them to surf practice. From a bibliographybase, the research focuses on suggesting a model that could contributeto explaining serious leisure experience in surf practice and surf tourism. Seriousleisure characteristics and three attributes of the practice were considered, suchas: perceived competence, connection with the environment, and surf subculture.This context was subjected to empirical analysis, which allowed us to assess themodel. Below is the explanation of the procedure carried out in field work and thestatistical processes taken into consideration, thus the model is analyzed accordingto the methodology in use and the results are established in order to contributeto the discussion of the model for further adjustments and research. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo establece conceptos relacionados a la experiencia de ocio y al ocioserio determinando sus cualidades para vincularlas con la práctica del surf. Apartir de la revisión bibliográfica, el trabajo se centra en proponer un modelo quepueda contribuir a explicar la experiencia de ocio serio en la práctica del surf y elturismo surf. Para ello se consideraron las cualidades de ocio serio y tres atributosde la práctica propuestos como son: la competencia percibida, la conexión conel medio ambiente y la sub-cultura del surf. Este contexto ha sido sometido a unanálisis empírico que nos permitió evaluar el modelo en cuestión. A continuación,se explica el procedimiento realizado en el trabajo de campo y las herramientasestadísticas consideradas, con ello se analiza el modelo de acuerdo a la metodologíautilizada y se establecen resultados que ayuden a la discusión del modelopara futuros ajustes e investigaciones. | es-ES |
