ResumenSe presenta un caso de esquizofrenia desorganizada en el que se observa un pronunciado deterioro cognitivo y particularmente intelectual. La reflexión de los antecedentes, así como la contrastación de los resultados cuantitativos con la observación diaria y cualitativa, conducen a profundizar respecto a la necesidad de considerar tanto los elementos neuropsicológicos como psicopatológicos en la interpretación de los resultados de pruebas de evaluación psicológica. Más aún, en patologías en donde el límite y la relación entre los elementos psicopatológicos y neuropsicológicos no están claros. Es por ello que se hace hincapié en la valoración de la persona como un todo y no su desmembramiento en partes.Palabras claves: esquizofrenia – deterioro cognitivo – deterioro Intelectual – evaluación neuropsicológica – caso clínico.AbstractWe report a case of schizophrenia disorganized in which there is a pronounced cognitive impairment and particularly intellectually deterioration. The reflection of the background, as well as the monitoring of the quantitative results with the observation qualitative and daily, leading to deepen respect to the need of consider both neuropsychological elements and psychopathological in the interpretations of the results of psychological tests. Moreover in pathologies where the limits and the relationship between the psychopathology and neuropsychology not clear.
