dc.description	This paper proposes the hypothesis that it’s possible to recognize the figure of the Cartesian cogito in Samuel Beckett’s narrative. Especially in relation to the problem of the separation between mind and body, and the paradoxes resulting from a philosophical self-reflexivity whose operations seem to describe biographical events. The subject who meditates withdraws from the world, speaking and writing, accompanied only by his own voice.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo propone la hipótesis de que es posible reconocer en la obra narrativa de Samuel Beckett la figura del cogito cartesiano, especialmente en relación al problema de la separación entre mente y cuerpo, y a las paradojas que resultan de una autorreflexividad filosófica cuyas operaciones parecen describir acontecimientos biográficos. El sujeto que medita se retira del mundo, hablando y escribiendo, acompañado solo por su propia voz.	es-ES
