dc.description	The study of exile cinema, its works and its directors, is a good way to approach and understand how geographical displacement and cultural heterogeneity originated by Chilean exile experiences are intimately woven with contemporary perspectives on identity and nation. As an essential task that parallels the importance of continuing to recover and promote productions filmed during exile, there should also be more critical studies of these works and their filmmakers; studies that shouldn’t only focus on the work of recognized male directors. In addition, this study asks not just for the recovery of these works, but for wide national accessibility to them. This article aims to show how films directed by exiled women such as Angelina Vázquez deserve more visibility and recognition.	en-US
dc.description	El estudio de la filmografía del exilio, las obras y sus cineastas, es útil para acercarse y entender mejor cómo el desplazamiento geográfico y la heterogeneidad cultural, debido al exilio chileno están tejidos íntimamente con la diversificación de perspectivas contemporáneas sobre identidad y nacionalidad. Como actividad imprescindible que paralela la importancia de seguir con la recuperación y difusión del patrimonio audiovisual del exilio, también debe haber más estudios críticos sobre estas obras y sus cineastas, y que estos no solo deben examinar las actividades de directores-hombres reconocidos. Además de apelar no solo al rescate sino también la difusión nacional, a través de un análisis de dos obras de Angelina Vázquez, este artículo intenta demostrar que las obras de cineastas exiliadas merecen más reconocimiento y visibilidad.	es-ES
