dc.description	This paper discusses two possible interpretations of cultural anthropophagy (or literary cannibalism) based on Oswald de Andrade’s Manifiesto Antropofágico, which was written in the context of the Brazilian modernist movement. Accepting the definition arising from cultural studies that conceive the phenomenon of anthropophagy as the assimilation of European culture by Latin American culture, the various forms of this process of cultural exchange are examined, with emphasis on studies that focus on a Latin American identity	en-US
dc.description	Este trabajo reflexiona sobre dos posibles interpretaciones culturales de la antropofagia, a partir del Manifiesto Antropofágico de Oswald de Andrade, escrito en el marco del movimiento modernista brasileño. Aceptando la definición proveniente de los estudios culturales, que conciben el fenómeno de la antropofagia como la asimilación de la cultura europea, por parte de la cultura latinoamericana, se pretende indagar en las modalidades que adquiere este proceso en cuanto se manifiesta y comprende como un “hábito” o como “ritual”. Diferencia relevante al momento de distinguir las diversas formas que adquiere este proceso de intercambio cultural, especialmente en los estudios que indagan una identidad latinoamericana	es-ES
