| dc.description | The present article is inserted within a greater project (the determination of the Chilean cultural identity from its arts) and within that objective, it proposes an analysis of Gabriela Mistral's poetic speech taken as expression of the Chilean cultural identity. This study has two main sections, each one is an overhaul of the poet's thematic universe: Love and Word. The first subject of love registers within the amplest thematic constellation (human love, divine love, death, frustration, American mythology, the feminine, Motherland and Matria, the founding elements of the world, etc.). The overhaul of these subjects leads to Gabriela Mistral's cosmological and anthropological vision. The subject of the word, on the other hand, establishes the fundamental times of the Mistralian speech (shout, word, ask, silence), soon to derive to the analysis of the original characteristics of the mentioned language. Subjects and language happen to become expression of the Chilean cultural identity. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo se inscribe dentro de un proyecto mayor (la determinación de la identidad cultural chilena a partir de sus artes) y dentro de ese objetivo, propone un análisis del discurso poético de Gabriela Mistral considerado como expresión de dicha identidad. Dos son los grandes apartados del estudio: una revisión del universo temático de la poetisa: el amor y la palabra. El primer tema del amor se inscribe dentro de una constelación temática amplísima (amor humano, amor divino, muerte, frustración, mitología americana, lo femenino, la Patria y la Matria, los elementos fundantes del mundo, etc.). La revisión de los temas señalados desemboca en la visión cosmológica y antropológica de Gabriela Mistral. El tema de la palabra, por su parte, establece los tiempos fundamentales del discurso mistraliano (grito, palabra, pregunta, silencio), para luego derivar al análisis de las características originales del mencionado lenguaje. Temas y lenguaje pasan a convertirse en expresión de la identidad cultural chilena. | es-ES |
