This study analyses some of the difficulties the Christian art faces nowadays. First of all, it characterizes the extension of the 'Christian art' concept and distinguishes its essence en two co-principles: Christ, God's Word, and Beauty as to splendor of such Word in the artistic expression. Next, it studies the Christian art relationships with God Father, as to Creator; Christ as Word that dignifies human being; and the Holy Spirit, as manifestation of the Love which inspires the Christian artist. Este estudio analiza algunas de las dificultades que enfrenta el arte cristiano en la actualidad. Caracteriza la extensión del concepto "arte cristiano" y distingue su esencia en dos coprincipios: Cristo, el Verbo de Dios, y la belleza en cuanto resplandor de dicho Verbo en la expresión artística. A continuación estudia las relaciones del arte cristiano con Dios Padre, en cuanto Creador; con Cristo como Verbo que dignifica al ser humano; y con el Espíritu Santo, como manifestación del Amor, que inspira al artista cristiano.
