| dc.description | The objective of this article is to make some notes about the archers, specifically, the case of Pándaro in the Iliad. First, we will briefly address the implications between the myth and the figure of the hero. Secondly, we will focus on the appearances, the lineage, the nobility and the fights. Finally, we will reinforce the importance of Greek myths: their themes and motives in time and how Pándaro is shown as a hero, but according to the characteristics of the archers. There are always elements that will lower them, in one way or another, in front of the rest of the heroes. He has no horses, he renounces them, he does not win his battles, he breaks the truce between the armies: he uses the bow instead of the spear. The archer’s vision was always negative, and this is seen in the heroes who used the bow. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo de este artículo es realizar algunas notas sobre los arqueros, específicamente el caso de Pándaro en la Ilíada. En primer lugar, abordaremos brevemente las implicancias entre el mito y la figura del héroe. En segundo lugar, nos centraremos en las apariciones, el linaje, la nobleza y las peleas. Finalmente, reforzaremos la importancia de los mitos griegos: sus temas y motivos en el tiempo y cómo Pándaro se muestra como un héroe, pero según las características de los arqueros. Siempre hay elementos que los rebajarán, de alguna u otra manera, frente al resto de los héroes. No tiene caballos, renuncia a ellos, no gana sus batallas, rompe la tregua entre los ejércitos: usa el arco en vez de la lanza. La visióndel arquero siempre fue negativa, y esto se observa en los héroes que utilizaron el arco. | es-ES |
