Así, la obra de Duchamp, es significativa para la formación estética de muchos artistas, tales como Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, George Segal, y otros, llamados "Pop". Pero la relación más evidente es entre Marcel Duchamp y Andy Warhol, quien, en este artículo es considerado. como su "presunto heredero".
