| dc.description | El presente trabajo desea profundizar la razón detrás de la «tradición» de continuidad, minoritaria pero a la vez importante, del carácter homo-social de los establecimientos emblemáticos de la educación secundaria chilena. Para ello se realiza una reconstrucción sociohistórica de la educación secundaria segregada por sexo en Chile, entre su fundación en 1813 y el fin de la discusión sobre este tipo de división en 1965, con el objetivo de dar cuenta de los procesos de producción y reproducción del orden de género al interior del sistema educativo secundario, evidenciando las pistas que entrega la historiografía educativa para la mantención de proyectos que pudieran considerarse antidemocráticos y sexistas. | es-ES |
| dc.description | Este trabalho visa aprofundar na razão detrás da «tradição» de continuidade, minoritária, mas ao mesmo tempo importante, do caráter homosocial das escolas emblemáticas do ensino secundário chileno. Para isto, é realizada uma reconstrução sóciohistórica do ensino secundário segregado por sexo no Chile, entre sua fundação em 1813 e o final da discussão sobre este tipo de divisão em 1965, com o objetivo de apresentar os processos de produção e reprodução da ordem de gênero no interior do sistema educativo secundário, apresentando os resultados que entrega a historiografia educativa para a manutenção de projetos considerados antidemocráticos e sexistas. | pt-BR |
| dc.description | This study intends to go deeper into the reasons behind the minority yet prominent «tradition» of the homo-social nature of emblematic Chilean secondary schools. A sociohistorical rebuilding of Chilean sex-segregated secondary education, from its establishment in 1813 to the end of the discussion on this kind of division in 1965, is carried out. This, in order to present the processes of production and reproduction of gender order inside the secondary education system, highlighting the aspects that educational historiography have evidenced maintaining educational projects considered as antidemocratic and sexist. | en-US |
