dc.descriptionEl presente artículo categoriza la(s) representaciones dominantes en las estructuras enunciativas de los discursos verbo-visuales en la construcción de los actores sociales vinculados al movimiento estudiantil. La investigación abarca las informaciones publicadas entre junio de 2011 y mayo de 2012 en el diario El Mercurio de Valparaíso y el periódico digital El Martutino, y se desarrolló mediante una metodología mixta y comparatista de carácter sociosemiótico. Los hallazgos ponen en evidencia la crisis de representación que escenifican y amplifican los medios de comunicación, simplificando los alcances de la movilización estudiantil, excluyéndola y descontextualizándola de la trama compleja de actores y procesos sociales.es-ES

A pesquisa abrange as informações publicadas entre junho de 2011 e maio de 2012 no jornal El Mercurio de Valparaíso e o diário digital El Martutino. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida através de uma metodologia sociossemiótica mista e comparativa. Os resultados destacam a crise de representação que apresenta e amplifica a mídia, simplificando os alcances do movimento estudantil, excluindo-o e descontextualizando-o da complexa rede de atores e processos sociais.pt-BR
dc.descriptionThe present article categorizes the dominant representations of declarative structures of verbal-visual discourses in the depiction of the social actors linked to the student movement. Based on a mixed and comparative social semiotic approach, the research covers information published in the newspaper El Mercurio de Valparaiso and the digital daily El Martutino between June 2011 and May 2012. The findings present the crisis of representation deliberately dramatized and amplified by the media, oversimplifying the scope of the student movement and excluding and decontextualizing it from the complex network of actors and social processes.en-US
