Presentamos un comentario linear del De principiis naturae 4. El discurso de Santo Tomás se centra sobre las relaciones internas de las causas de los entes. Primero, concluye que la causa final es la causa de las causas, al ser la causa de la causalidad de cada una de las causas. Segundo, muestra la condición hilemórfica de los cuerpos, por la que sus causas material y formal se causan entre sí, aunque de diverso modo y con una primacía de la formal. Tercero, la anterioridad según el tiempo o según la perfección comprende relaciones variables de anterioridad entre las causas y sus efectos, y entre las causas mismas. En consecuencia, enfrentamos la necesidad de la materia y la necesidad del fin. Luego, presentando la coincidencia de las causas en un mismo sujeto, muestra que la materia nunca puede ser una según la especie con las otras causas.  We present a linear commentary on De principiis naturae 4.
