| dc.description | El término "dislexia" se empezó a usar hace más de 100 años, para describir una deficiencia severa en el proceso lector. Desde esa época se han planteado diversas hipótesis y teorías neuropsicológicas que intentan explicar por qué muchos niños no aprenden a leer y al mismo tiempo buscan otorgar una base racional para su diagnóstico y tratamiento. Este trabajo describe los principales hitos que han seguido las investigaciones sobre dislexias, y hace un análisis crítico de los principales resultados obtenidos y sus proyecciones. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The word “dyslexia” has been used since 100 years ago for describing a severe difficulty in reading and spelling. Since 1887 several neuropsychological hypothesis and theories about dyslexia have been proposed. Their aim is to explain why many children do not learn to read, and to propose a rationale for diagnosing and treating the dyslexias. This paper presents the main landmarks followed by researches in dyslexia during this period, and a critical analysis of them. | en-US |
